It’s been way too long since I posted anything of significance on this blog and I’m pretty disappointed about that. There’s been so much going on, it’s a bit of travesty that I haven’t had the opportunity to put out some of my thoughts. With 2011 coming to a close, what better way to set the tone for 2012 than with a little piece of my mind?
This entire year has been INCREDIBLE. I started off quite dazed from some big blows at the back end of 2010, but things have shaped out in such a way I never would’ve imagined. Radio is more fun than it’s ever been, and on top of that I’m venturing into sports the way I’ve always dreamed of. Thanks to InterAKTV I’m back writing about football, and I’ve recently delved into writing about Mixed Martial Arts as well. With TV 5 sports channel, AKTV, taking a prominent role in bringing football to the Filipino people, I’m fortunate enough to be commentating football games now too. Man. In the span of a few months in the second half of 2011, suddenly my career is where I’ve always envisioned it would be. It’s difficult to believe how quickly it has all come about. From struggling at times with confidence on air, and finding it really tough to fish out opportunities in other fields, suddenly I find myself exactly where I want to be.
2011 has been more than just career success though, it’s been a very fruitful one in my relationships with the people around me. I’m closer to my family and friends than I’ve ever been, and I’m also fortunate enough to be with an incredible lady who I get to share all of my happiness with.
This year has been a real adventure. At times it’s been a struggle, an anxious ride, a jump into unexplored territory. But it’s also been eye-opening, incredibly enjoyable, another step to understanding who I really I am, and what I want. 2011 was immense. Now, seven hours away from another year, I’m beaming, pumped, brimming with excitement. 2012 I see you. I’m ready to take things to the next level. IF you know what I mean!

And all the fun in between.
